SPANISH PASSION with Tablao Flamenco (6-12 grade)

Inspired by the rich cultural heritage of Spain, this powerful performance promises to capture the hearts, minds, and soul of the audience, leaving them mesmerized by the beauty and artistry they behold. The program includes a variety of dance and music from Spain including classic Jota, Muñeira and Paso Doble, the tradition of La Tuna Troubadours (a group of traveling minstrels from the King's Court in the 16th century playing mandolins and tambourines), and a special Spanish fantasy with fire symbolizing the passion and elegance of Spain. The second stanza is dedicated to various genres of Tablao Flamenco, including Tango, Jaleo, Martinetes, Tanguillo, Alegrias and Rumba.

Live classical guitarrist will delight and entertain your students between dancces with a variety of traditional Spanish music, and at the conclusion audience members are invited to participate in the interactive portion of our show and join the artist on stage to dance. (The number of students able to participate in the interactive portion of the show may vary, please inquire at check in for more information).
