The rich culture of Spain inspired this overwhelming display of music and dance. The performance begins with Zarzuela, a tradition from the King's Court in the 16th century, and La Jota, a folkloric dance accompanied by castanets performed in authentic regional costumes.

The second act consist of the Clasico EspaƱol and Tablao Flamenco, including a mix of the musical genres from Rumba, Guajira, and Colombiana. "Cantes de Ida y Vuelta" is a flamenco musical style which has its origins in Spanish-American popular music and is considered part of this group of genres. The term "Ida y Vuelta" (round trip) came from the ancient belief that these styles came to America by Spanish emigrants. The styles were transformed there, and when the emigrants returned to their origins, the styles were unified and reached the Spanish forms.

The students will also be exposed to traditional versions of Sevillanas and Rumba. Between dances, the audience is treated to live classical guitarists performing a variety of traditional Spanish music. At the conclusion, audience members are invited to participate in the interactive portion of our show and join the artists on stage to dance in the "Macarena".

*The number of students able to participate in the interactive portion of the show may vary, please inquire at check in for more information.
